Austro-Hungarian contribution

The Austro-Hungarian Empire sent both troops and ships to take part in early phase of the European Intervention. However, keeping in line with their principle ally, Germany, they withdrew their support for the Concert  in early 1898. The following photographs are taken from : K. und K. Streitkärfte auf und von Kreta. 1897/1898. Im Auftrage des K. und K. Reichs-Kriegs-Ministeriums auf Grund der officiellen Acten verfasst. (Vienna, 1901), the official Austro-Hungarian history of the military aspects of their involvement.
